Northwest Knitter

Hi! I am am a 4th year medical student, sailor, and knitter in Seattle, WA. If all goes as planned, knitting and playing with boats will keep me sane while in school! Recently, I have gotten woo'ed by "going green" and am doing my best to improve and consume/waste less...

Better late than never...

Finally, I have finished my first pair of Jaywalkers!

STR "Fire on the Mountain", of course. The color pooling is very interesting on the feet; the BOTTOMS of the feet have the pretty blues and pinks!

Funny how much toe-finishing can get done when my last midterm of all time is in a few hours...

still here, barely...

I was reading a "you might be a med student if" list, and realized that in fact, I MIGHT BE A MED STUDENT!

My top three for the week:
1) Friends (non-medschool) wanted to throw me a birthday party, and I told them that I might have time in a few weeks if it was only two hours long and had no booze (so I could study after)...

2) I played House bingo, and won on a rerun with "It might be vasculitis!"

3) Nobody sat next to me on the bus home yesterday, and I couldn't tell if it was because I kept reciting psych drugs to myself or the giant picture of a penis on the handout in my lap...

Anyway, I finally set up the "new" blogger dashboard, and will attempt to post some catchup photos of knitting and spinning this week. Believe it or not, I have actually managed to knit a little bit!

Two weeks of classes, two weeks of exams, three weeks to study for USMLE I, then a short break before I start my first rotation. Whee!
